I’m not married to a specific brand of face creams and make up so I’m always willing to try new products out which is why I was excited when La Bella Donna reached out to me to collaborate in this post. If you follow me on Instagram (@whiteandbeige_), you noticed that I shared my favorite La Bella Donna products on my page and I wanted to give you a closer look at my experience with them and direct links to buy if you’re interested!
For starters, this SPF powder. I used to not care about using sunscreen back in my high school and college hay day and used tanning beds quite often. I’m trying really hard to not treat my skin horribly and cover it up in the sun which is why I was really curious about this SPF powder. The website describes this product as “LBD SUN is an all naturale, pure mineral translucent sun protection. It lasts all day without re-application and provides complete protection from all UVA/UVB infrared rays. It does not contain any FD&C dyes, oils, fragrance, alcohol, parabens, cornstarch or other chemicals. Soothing and calming, LBD SUN can be used on rash-prone skin, eczema, allergy-prone skin (with a near-zero allergy rate) and sensitive skin. This mineral sun protection keeps the skin naturally cool (even when sitting in the sun) and reduces perspiration, doesn’t irritate like chemical sunscreens.” So, I gave it a whirl. I must point out that it’s one shade for all and was a few shades too dark for my skin. I didn’t have any foundation on when I applied it and noticed that it didn’t blend in with my neck. Nothing a little foundation can’t help with but definitely keep that in mind when ordering! Overall, I found this powder to be very lightweight and didn’t make my skin that dry, which is a miracle because I have very dry skin. I also wore it on an 87 degree day and didn’t suffer from any burns. You can purchase this SPF powder directly here!
Next up is this gel crème: You know something’s fancy pants when it’s spelled crème and not cream so I had to try it out. It smells DELICIOUS! I was a little worried about putting something scented on my face since my skin is not only beyond dry but also very sensitive and my cheeks react to anything with a scent. Low and behold, no reaction from this! I was pleasantly surprised. This crème does contain high levels of bioactive ingredients that promote healing which is probably why my face didn’t have a reaction. The company describes this crème as “Our Co-Exist Gel Crème is designed to work hand in hand with our nourishing Mineral Makeup lines to help your skin show off its natural radiance. Many of our loyal customers have asked us for years to formulate a hydrating skin creme consistent with our naturale, eco-luxury philosophy – Co-Exist Gel Crème is the product of three years of extensive research and development. We created Co-Exist to synergistically work with your body’s existing healing processes. Using Co-Exist with your daily Mineral Makeup regiment will facilitate the skins natural capacity to regenerate at a cellular level.” You can purchase this crème directly here!
Lastly, this luminere. Praise the makeup God’s for this stuff because it’s A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! You barely need anything on your brush for it to highlight your cheek bones. I try not to wear a lot of makeup so I’m a huge fan of a product that requires very little maintenance but looks great. It works so well that my sisters kept asking to use it. The company describes it as, “Soft, light in texture and delicately compressed, the latest awash of femininity for the face. The luminous convenient small package of sheer glow translates into sheer mineral chic.” You can purchase directly here!
